“Number 4 High Performance Hair Care was founded with the mission to create a hair care line that runs parallel to fashion, science, art, music and industrial design creative cycles. The Number 4 package design is inspired by the crossover between the essence of Swedish graphic design and the complex industrial minimalism of Japanese package design.”

A private property in the small Swedish town of Landskrona, Townhouse has been designed by the fledgling design office Elding Oscarson, run by Johan Oscarson and Jonas Elding, a duo with seriously healthy design CVs behind them. Occupying a space of just 75 square metres, Townhouse looks like a bright white slab of the future dropped into the past, yet when the street is viewed as a whole, manages to blend in gracefully with it’s olde worlde surroundings. The single, continuous space, that is set out over three floors, opens to the street, through the middle of the living space and up to the sky, creating an airy, harmonious space that defies the potential claustrophobic feel a property of this size could deliver. With a wealth of experience in both Swedish and international architecture, from museums to private houses, interiors to furniture and product design, we’re sure that we’ll be seeing more inspirational work from Elding Oscarson.

Stylish and sophisticated, Uniform Wares is a new London based ‘Objects & Apparel’ brand whose products are “intended for everyday use by individuals with an eye for meticulous design details”, their first foray into the fashion world is a ridiculously minimal wrist watch simply entitled, Wrist Watch 001. Limited quantities and colours hints that this is the beginning of an expanding range from this fledgling designer, and if this rather seductive little number is anything to go by, then that’s a very good thing….
